Olympus Projects Limited, in partnership with the Southern Highlands Government, is pleased to announce that the Mendi Power Project has reached a significant milestone in its implementation. Key components of the project including site establishment, procurement of generators and switchgear, and successful pre-shipment testing have now been completed. The generators have arrived in Lae wharf, and preparations are underway for the final phase of the project, which includes transportation, Soft Launch, installation, commissioning, and official handover. Olympus Projects Limited is working closely with the Southern Highlands Government to ensure all logistical and operational requirements are in place to enable the successful commissioning and official launch of the facility on the 26th of June 2025.This power project is a key infrastructure investment aimed at improving access to reliable electricity for the people of Mendi and surrounding communities, supporting socio-economic growth and long-term development across the region.
